- 1.5 liters whole milk
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- A small piece of orange peel
- A small piece of lemon peel
- Refined white sugar (optional, to taste)
- Ground cinnamon (for sprinkling)
👨🍳 Step by step for a perfect texture:
Begin by placing the rice in a large pot with the water, the cinnamon sticks, and the citrus peels. Heat over high heat until it is about to boil, lower the heat, cover, and let cook until the rice is very soft and has absorbed the water.
🥄 Add the milk and the flavors:
In another container, heat the milk without letting it boil. Pour most of it over the already cooked rice, raise the heat to medium, and add the salt. Stir constantly so it does not stick to the bottom.
In the remaining milk, dissolve the condensed milk. Add it little by little to the rice along with the vanilla, mixing well. Taste the sweetness and add refined sugar only if you consider it necessary.

When the dessert begins to thicken, add the butter and stir continuously until it melts completely. Remove from the heat when the consistency is creamy and uniform.
